2022-2024

Led the UniCredit digital strategy across Europe as Chief Consultant to leverage and enhance the Group's artistic heritage with a focus on increasing access to its collections to all, allowing the bank to further engage with its communities. Digitise over 500+ artworks across 22 Italian cities, leading a system change of 60,000+ items across Italy, Germany, and Austria to a new database system and producing and launching an “Online Museum” with specially curated content and a public catalogue of the collection.

From Udine in the north to Messina in the South, documenting 500+ artworks, including ancient archaeology, old masters, to contemporary artworks with photographer Sebastiano Pellion di Persano. www.artcollection.unicredit.eu is a living, growing resource, and here we will share the treasures of the collection, exhibitions, videos, and more.

Collaborated with the former Director of MAXXI (National Museum of 21st Century Art) Bartolomeo Pietromarchi to curate UniCredit’s first online exhibition, Inversamente, a journey through aniconic art between the early 1960s and the beginning of the new millennium, including artists such as Hans Hartung, Shirin Neshat, Gerhard Richter, and Mario Schifano.

Worked with artists and educators to produce deep-dive thematic collections to spotlight subjects within the collection and a Learning Centre where you can experience the collection through making. Hearing directly from the artists within the collection for our series of video interviews and learned about the numerous artistic initiatives of the UniCredit Group across Italy, Germany, and Romania.

The UniCredit Art Collection is one of Europe’s largest corporate collections, with tens of thousands of items held across Europe with a focus on Italy, Germany and Austria.
